Beginnings

Grey is sophisticated.
Grey is elegant.
Grey is restrained.
Grey is comfortable.
Grey is safe.

However, on a day like today -
Grey is bleak.

Going into the city reveals a wash of people in black, grey and muddy colours. The overwhelming sense of dullness is not alleviated by splashes of firetruck red -the single, ubiquitous colour fails to raise the mood.

In an effort to kick the grey habit (exemplified by current knitting, below), I have decided to promote colour in my wardrobe, to assign grey to a more minor role.

At least until spring lightness and colour helps kick the bleakness.
